2010-2015 Lexus RX350 RX450h Low Beam HID Headlight Bulb Replacement Instructions

Replace the low beam HID headlight bulb on 2010-2015 Lexus RX350 and RX450h, including engine cover removal and spring clip retention.

Parts Needed

→HID bulbs run at very high voltage — disconnect the battery negative terminal before starting to avoid electrocution.
→On the RX450h hybrid, remove the fuse relay box by pulling the tab to gain access to the headlight area.
→Note the orientation of the round gray cover before removing it — the long tab should point vertically up.
→When pushing trim clip retainers in, you must pop them back out afterward or they won't hold properly.
→The HID bulb has a large square notch and a small semi-circular notch — align these with the matching cutouts in the headlight housing.
→The connector and cover both remove counterclockwise (viewed from the rear) and reinstall clockwise.
→Make sure the hook on the engine cover engages with its cutout when reinstalling.
