- →The cover has an arrow and LH/RH marking — ensure the arrow points up when reinstalling so left and right covers aren't mixed up.
- →Disconnect the LED brake light connector before removing the bulb housing to avoid ripping the wires.
- →Turn the bulb housing counterclockwise about 1/8 of a turn to release it, and clockwise to reinstall.
- →Do not yank the housing — gently manipulate it to avoid damaging the LED brake light wiring.
- →Hold the bulb carefully after removal so it doesn't fall into the body cavity.
- →The bulb must be oriented correctly before inserting — align it so it slides in the right direction before turning to lock.
